CHAPTER # 02

                                                                    EXISTING SYSTEM

Existing System:
We are using manual registers and papers for our “BANK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” which is very inconvenient. We are having a lot of issues because recently our data stored on papers got wet and destroyed. So we are converting our manual procedure into computerized system.
Old Procedure:
On manual system the account of a client is created on paper which is called form and that form is then stored in our form storage.
Steps for creating a bank account on old system are:
·       Fill out the form that is provided by our bank’s accountant.
·       Provide every identification that is required.
·       Provide your employer information.
·       Then our accountant will perform some necessary processes and security clearance.
·       We will confirm from your employer organization whether you work for them or not and it will take some time.
·       Then the account will be created after some days.

 Problems:

1.   Time Wastage:

It requires long time to search a particular record that is required immediately because records are stored on papers.
2.   Great Efforts Required:
A large effort is required for maintaining records.

3.   Wastage Of Storage:
A large space is required for records that are stored on paper.
4.   Unnecessary Accumulations:
The existing system does not provide any easy way out of the problems of unnecessary accumulation of storage.
5.   Extra Manpower:
A very big amount of manpower power is required to operate this manual system.

                                                                    PROPOSED SYSTEM

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The aim of proposed system is to develop a system of improved facilities. The proposed system can overcome all the limitations of the existing system. The systems provide proper security and reduce the manual work.

MAJOR FEATURES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The system is very simple in design and to implement. The system requires very low system resources and the system will work in almost all configurations. It has got following features:
§  Computerized System
§  Ensure data accuracy’s.
§  Proper control of the higher officials.
§  Reduce the damage of the machines.
§  Minimize manual data entry.
§  Minimum time needed for the various processing.
§  Greater efficiency.
